Extraits d'articles US pendant la première grossesse de Jen

Folks on the set of Alias figuredJennifer Garner had just had a few carbs too many. "She likes to eat," says a source. "Girl has a bagel, gets a pooch and—poof!—everyone thinks she's pregnant." This time, it seems, everyone was right. Nine months after Garner, 33, and Ben Affleck, 32, began dating, sources say the couple are three months into a pregnancy. But don't expect any official statements of joy. In contrast to his very public romance with Jennifer Lopez, the actor has kept his relationship with Garner private. They have spent their together time quietly hanging out in the Brentwood, Calif., neighborhood where they both live: grocery shopping, getting coffee at Starbucks, renting movies at Blockbuster and, oh yes, getting engaged. In early May a close friend spread the news that the two were planning to wed, to the delight of Garner's parents. "They had their fingers crossed," a Garner pal told PEOPLE. "They really love Ben." Soon after, she was sporting a diamond eternity band, although a wedding ceremony would have to be scheduled around work: Garner is already in Vancouver for the two-month shoot of the romantic comedyCatch and Release. Her pregnancy, says a rep for the film, would "absolutely not cause any recasting." And what about Sydney Bristow, the action hero she plays on Alias? "I'm sure [executive producer] J.J. Abrams is glad he did that episode where Sydney's eggs were harvested," says a source. Back in Brentwood, Garner strolled into the baby shop Wonderland on May 2 and later sent an assistant to pick up a $66 stroller blanket in off-white. In Affleck's hometown of Boston, meanwhile, his mom, Chris, "would like nothing more than to have another grandchild," says a source. "She will be thrilled."

Forget those reports that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner married in West Virginia – or anywhere else – last weekend.

The actor's publicist, Ken Sunshine, tells TV's Access Hollywood that an item about the nuptials in New York's Daily News quoting a florist and wedding planner in Wheeling, W. Va., just isn't true.

Affleck and Garner "are not in West Virginia," says Sunshine. "They did not get married yesterday. They did not get married today."

Brandon Tucker, owner of the Briarwood Flower Shoppe, had told the News that theAlias star requested bouquets of ivory Virginia roses, Casablanca lilies and gardenia. "I was just dumbfounded," said Tucker. "In Wheeling, not too many celebrities come in. I should have worn something different."

While false reports spread that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were due to be married in West Virginia last weekend, the couple kept busy during a whirlwind getaway in New York.

On Saturday morning, the duo emerged from the posh Ritz Carlton hotel, near Central Park. The actress sported jeans and a dark blue T-shirt, which showed off the small bulge of her pregnant belly. After spending the day sightseeing, the couple dined at the SoHo Mexican restaurant Dos Caminos, then went back to the hotel. As they waited for the elevator to take them to their room, the beaming pair shared a quick kiss.

Then on Sunday, the couple headed to a matinee performance of the play The Paris Letter, starring Garner's Alias costar Ron Rifkin. Affleck and Garner quietly sat in the orchestra section, and after the curtain call, they cuddled openly and smiled at onlookers as they waited to make their way backstage. The two then headed down the aisle (just not thataisle).

Later, they spent some time with Rifkin at an apartment in Manhattan's financial district before jumping back in their SUV and heading to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey.
